Curriculum Requirements and Credits per Year

Completion of the following minimum credit requirements is necessary for graduation from the Waldorf High School of the Peninsula with a Waldorf High School Diploma.  These graduation requirements exceed the entrance requirements for the University of California.  Students who successfully complete the full four-year curriculum of the Waldorf High School of the Peninsula will automatically meet the graduation requirements. Electives, Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) classes are not currently offered. WHSP does not rank students.

Explanation of Credits

2.5 credits for 3-week main lesson blocks
3.35 credits for 4-week main lesson blocks
5 credits per semester for 4 day/week track classes (Math, Spanish, English, History)
5 credits per semester for art
2.5 credits per semester for PE, Eurythmy & Music
1.25 credits per semester for Life Skills/Wellness
