I. Register for an open house.

High School Open Houses are on Saturdays. Please plan to arrive promptly at 10:00 AM and stay through 12:30 PM. We welcome middle and high school students, but no little ones please. You and your student will have the opportunity to experience sample lessons and participate in a question-and-answer session with both faculty and students.

II. Schedule a visit.
We recommend that all prospective students spend a full day “shadowing” at the school.  If you’d like to schedule a visit, please call us at 650 417 7600.


III. Request an application
Ask the school to send an application or download it from this website. The application has seven parts. The first two are specific to Waldorf School of the Peninsula High School. The remaining five are the Bay Area Admission Directors' Common Application Forms, with WHSP listed on the form as a member.

  4. English Teacher Recommendation

  6. Principal/Counselor Recommendation
  7. Principles of Good Practice (Information from Bay Area Admissions Directors)

IV. Complete and submit the application
Submit your application with a non-refundable $100 fee by Thursday, January 12, 2012. We will consider late applications as space permits. Please be sure to sign, date and provide a stamped and addressed envelope for all forms turned into your current school, and please allow ample time for these forms to be processed and sent to us.

V. Once we have received your completed application, we will contact you to schedule interviews for parents and the student applicant.

VI. Decision letters will be mailed to student applicants on Thursday, March 15, 2012.

VII. Signed contracts and tuition deposits are due by Friday, March 23, 2012.
